Aperol Spritz Friday

Today's weather filled me with nostalgia for family holidays. Damp and humid. It was reminiscent of holidays on the Welsh coast, optimistic walks on windswept beaches, the smell of vinegar on chips and an afternoon spent killing time in an amusement arcade. Ah, memories!

Audrey and I went on another of our mammoth walks today taking in a few parks and stopping off at the supermarket on the way back.

Had lots of cuddles with her today. Feeling very loved up with my baby girl.

Fran popped round for a cuppa this afternoon with her son Oakley.

Finished the day with our favourite drink (which we had at our wedding reception in Italy) - Aperol Spritz which is Aperol, Prosecco, soda water and sugar. Bellissimo!!

Off to Nottingham tomorrow to see our Friends In The South (they are travelling up from Guildford and meeting us half way). They have a baby girl called Delilah, the same age as Audrey. So excited to meet her....
