Hamish

This picture was taken almost a year ago, when my son's family cat was healthy and happy. Sadly, he became very ill recently, and although their vet tried hard to save him, it was not possible.
Hamish arrived at their house from a rescue centre about eight years ago, and after a little while gained confidence and became the family cat. Two babies were born, but he was not phased unduly, and of course he was part of their lives as they became toddlers and then school children.
I have blipped Hamish before, as I do not have a cat at present, and always enjoy having him on my knee for a purry stroke when I go to stay with them.
So goodbye, Hamish, I was pleased to know you, and thank you for being my grandchildren's very first pet.
