And on a cold miserable day such as today, I'm grateful for every bit of colour I can get.

Only one or two very hardy (or very hungry) bees around.

I succumbed earlier this afternoon, and put the heater on.  It is SO cold, and at this time of year, very unusual.;  We were driving through the hills yesterday and it was as green as the middle of winter.  Usually by now everything is drying off, but not this year.
