Day 17: Faces

I'd been struggling to create the image I wanted with faces of a die. I had a couple to play with but then I remembered our exciting milestone today and blipped that. L's first sticker on her potty chart for a wee. We've had 2 previous attempts, the last one being a couple of weeks ago when a successful wee ended up with a trip and a splash and a slip, so she's been a tad reluctant since then. So for us, today was real progress. It's silly the things that please me really haha! Clearly I need to get out more.

Morning run & a big house clear up before some friends came over. Can u see a recurring trend here? We've been having lots of play dates. I'm finding it more affordable and the kids seem to be on their best behaviour as they're so pleased to see their mates. Well that's the plan anyway. Today we had the Kings over. We don't know them that well yet but our kids will be in the same class next year and L will be at preschool with her son in jan so it makes sense for them to play together. Their mum is nice too and I'm enjoying her company.

Evening to myself tonight so I've been trying to make sense of my photoshop book. I'm still trying haha!

J is out have a late meeting with his new boss, hopefully he'll come home with a contract & a start date today. Just waiting for the contractors to complete the unit. Exciting!
