Bathroom
When our final summer guests left five weeks ago we went down to the cottage to say goodbye and to bid them a pleasant journey. As soon as their car had rounded the corner we stopped waving and went back inside to remove all the household linen, bring the outdoor furniture inside and begin emptying the pool. The following day I remembered that my original intention had been to dress the place up and take new promotional photographs before closing it all up for winter and I could have kicked myself. After all, that was the legitimate reason for putting the Sony on business expenses. Within a few days the weather had turned grey so was offering no incitement to photo shoots, but then this week I saw that Sunday promised to be glorious. We had a lunch date planned so I wasn't going to be able to do very much but I could at least take advantage of the morning sun coming in the bathroom window. Afternoon shots of sun streaming into the kitchen require bowls full of shiny fruit and other props of that ilk and I wasn't going to have the time for any of that faffery. I took 75 shots in 17 minutes and I think this one probably does the best job. Criticism would be really appreciated/gratefully received.
