Facade
It was a lovely sunny day so I took a stroll up Calton Hill at lunchtime. This is the 'National Monument' - an unfinished monument meant to be a replica of the Parthenon. Building began in 1822, but only a facade of the building was ever completed.
B and I went to a fringe show this evening at the Assembly Rooms - Stuart Lee's Carpet Remnant World. It was a brilliant show - I love Lee's sardonic wit. We stopped off for sushi on the way home - all in all a pretty good day.
