An utterly Gorgeous Stained Glass Window
In an equally classic Gothic Church,
St Marys, Dalton Holme
This is the upper panel below the Rose, if I show the full window, as a blip you can't see the superb detail, hence this view is of about a quarter of the window.
As you can tell by the style of the stained glass, this is not a very old church, but beautiful, neverthelss
The following is from Wikipedia.
The spire of St Mary's, the 19th-century church, is over 200 feet (61 m) high and can be seen for miles around. It was built to the design of John Loughborough Pearson in 1858 to replace an older parish church.
The Church it replaced was much more modest, and lasted over a thousand years.
Well worth a visit!
