The day of the super moon

It looks as if the super moon is going to be well hidden behind the clouds tonight. So, all I can give you is a view of the very high tide that it has created in the Ythan estuary.

I spoke too soon. Around 8 o'clock the clouds thinned a little and the "super moon" appeared, albeit briefly. Here she is, as an "extra", photographed leaning on the car roof, with a less than brilliant zoom lens. I was rather underwhelmed!
