Sunset over Montrose Basin
The Moon was due to rise above the horizon at 4.45pm today, so I went out to Johnshaven where I knew it would show up best over the water - cloud permitting. Regrettably too cloudy to see the Moon although there was a bit of a glow. Fortunately before I set out in hunt of the rising Moon I walked around Montrose Basin and watched the sunset. This blip is straight out of the camera - no cropping, no sharpening, only a very thin white border, which might be a good idea or maybe it would be best without a border?
