Wild Fires and Smoke

Smoke covering Chattanooga, Tennessee, reduces visibility and creates breathing problems for many in the city. Walking this morning on Missionary Ridge and looking over the usually visible city toward Signal Mountain. Signal Mountain is a normal fixture on the horizon, but wild fires in the forests and fields surrounding Chattanooga are producing a haze of smoke that continues to grow more intense. Some experts say conditions will continue and may worsen here in southeast Tennessee until we get rain.
