Little

The majority of the panto girls have taken to wearing crossovers with their yellow leos for panto rehearsals. And they all have pretty yellow hair accessories. It looks realllly cute! Makes them look all little and adorable. Katie hasn't had one since she was 3, when she got her first ballet school hoody for moving up out of the baby class. But they all look so sweet together in them and they're more practical for class than onesies and hoodies..... so I conceeded today. And I paid twice the price so she could have it right now. She's pulled jeans on after class ready for band and, somehow, doing that made her look super grown up!

Today has been all ballet and music. She did her homework before school (a poor study habit but literally the only time between end of school Friday and back to school today) before doing clarinet and piano. She's enjoyed the teachers talent show and the charity fair today. She came home saying there's a bit of a problem because her ks1 singing group (which are learning the school panto songs) clashes with the school panto dance group rehearsals. Shes put out at having to choose but has chosen the dancing- though by a smaller margin than I anticipated, she really likes the singing group. But dancing won, and rehearsals for Aladdin start shortly. Double panto for my girl....!!
