Preparing for Dinner

1.         The Swede
 
Cut into small chunks. 
Place in bowl and add seasoning and a little fluid – cider can work well (well it did tonight . . .).  
Cover with clingfilm and pierce some small holes with skewer or similar.
Place bowl in microwave and blast on full power for a long time until soft.
Mash and add butter (or similar).
 
Footnote for tonight, repeat above several times, finally give up and eat lumpy swede with the bangers and mash . . .
