Two V.C.'s at The Cenotaph

This photo, from yesterday's Remembrance Sunday ceremony in Central London........is, I feel, a most wonderful 'eye on history'.
BIll Speakman, a Chelsea Pensioner in his wheel chair, was awarded his Victoria Cross during the Korean War ~ and assisting him down Whitehall, was Johnson Beharry, fellow Victoria Cross recipient, awarded his medal in 2005 while fighting in Iraq.
