El Galeón

This 1/1 scale replica of a 16th century galleon ship is on a stop over in the port of Alexandria, just outside Washington D.C.  I went to take a quick peek  on this grey and cold day. It's unfortunately moored in a bizarre way, with all sorts of 'stuff' in front of it: the only unimpeded view would be from the water. Tours were on hand, but I had to run to the other side of D.C. to pick the edges which will finish the granite countertops for our new house. The clock's ticking and I'm half-heartedly starting to pack up stuff in the D.C. house...
