Fun on the beach this morning.

Although people are pulling together up in Kaikoura, tourists being helicoptered down to Christchurch, and plans being made to start fixing roads, the situation up there is grim. The residents have hard days ahead. I'm so hoping that lessons learned in Christchurch will make recovery smoother.

The navy is arriving at Kaikoura tomorrow! They're taking supplies in, and are going to take more tourists out. Yay for the navy.
