Before the rise of the supermoon ...

The sun set so beautifully on this birthday of J's. We took the very long winding road 'over the top' through Aberfeldy and down through the sma glen to Doune where Sheila had made her 'boy' a lovely supper.
We did see the moon which was very bright and moonlike by the time it was high in the sky -so no interesting photo.
I did take the time to ponder how old I would be the next time this similar phenomenon occurs and indeed to wonder if I will be here.
In awe of the beauty of our world and the fragility of our human life.
