Simnasho

We took the slightly longer scenic route through Hood River valley around the east side of Mt Hood and south. This old, familiar church in Simnasho is off the beaten path where it quietly barely changes. We are on our way to Kah-nee-ta where we'll stay to look at the super moon, only we probably won't see it as it's cloudy and rainy. I welcome the mix of emotions a return to central Oregon always brings. An odd reassurance, finding my bundle of memories intact. Moved here with my family where I spent my final year of high school before moving on. Not right here, but about twenty miles south of here, south of Madras.
