Over the road

A bit of an emergency Blip today. I did go out early, but it was wet and windy - it still is actually, in early afternoon. 

The sun popped out for a moment so I rushed outside, but missed most of it. I took this quick picture from our deck, looking across the road to what used to be the Nurses' Houses in what was the old County Hospital until it closed in 1995. Now there are a number of large, expensive houses there, but these two bungalows remain from the 'old days'.

The road is down below, out of sight, as is our garage, but our neighbour's car and garden tool store show the level of the road. Their house is just out of sight to the right. I suppose our house is about forty feet above the road.
