pancake goodness :)

I woke up to the sound of rain this morning - I love sleeping in to rain! But I very quickly realised we also had no power and no water :(. Typhoon Kai - Tak is working his magic at the moment and as a result, we are experiencing heavy rain and localised flooding around the centre. Even the bears are being kept in this weekend as their enclosures are flooded and the electric fencing is underwater! The heavy rains have caused soil and debri to block up our water pipes and this probably won't be fixed until the weather settles down - no showers for me this weekend! I have a bucket of water outside filling up so I can at least flush my toilet! sigh... the joys of living in a tropical country...

So it was off the the yb (where power and water was thankfully working) to cook myself a yummy breakfast. Organic, wholegrain, buckwheat banana pancakes with fresh banana and dragonfuit, honey and coconut icecream! I'm onto a winner with this combo :)
