Noise Pollution

The morning Cooriedog walk is currently less than the meditative experience it should be.  Today, the air was filled with the short rasps of chainsaws, tractors moving purposefully around the fields, machinery travelling up the rows collecting cut trees and wrapping them in plastic, a group of men huddled in a group speaking very loudly about the exploitative nature of employment, another tractor delivering bales of feed to a herd of cows,....  All worthy acts of economic activity and I'm not complaining, peace and quiet will return.

The blip is of a load of trees headed off to France with instructions to put them in some water.  Not sure that will do them much good.  I just think of the joy they will bring.
