Broken

While out for a bike ride this morning with friends there was a loud bang and my bike felt as if it had been hit by a stone.

The truth was that a spoke had broken in my front wheel.  I was lucky that this did not happen while I was travelling at speed.

The wheel was a bit wobbly but I was able to limp home on it.
