Silver
I went out in the fog at sunrise and was delighted to find some spider webs. They all disappeared after the extreme cold spell and I feared the spiders had died. This web caught my eye. Fog veiled sunlight played on the thin branches of the small plum tree, and beyond were the dark branches of the big fir. More detail in large.
The mountains were magnificent, standing in clear sunshine while I was at the fringe of the fog. The low grey cloud moved slowly off to the east, leaving us with a mostly sunny day.
This afternoon I was in the greenhouse pruning the two grapevines. It was hot work!
