BMW welt

A day of contrasts starting with the Olympic park and stadium from 1972 followed by the modernity of BMW world. Lots of very shiny toys including the new Rolls Royce Dawn and the all electric i8. Having decided that we didn't have a spare 160,000 euros for the i8 we spent the rest of the day in the nearby museum looking at everything from early cars built under licence from Austin to modern motorbikes. The blip is off this installation where they have used the badges from the back of different models from each era to show how much the range has expanded.
