Male house sparrow

We have family up to stay and today we have been into Hull to have a look around the town center and do a spot of shopping.  That spot of shopping meant that I came home with 8 new jumpers and a pair of boots! Not bad for only a few hours while the boys are at school.  I have been getting more and more desperate for some more jumpers as I am quite fussy.  So when I found lots of jumpers I liked, I loaded up with 11 of them and took them all to the changing rooms to try.  3 went back 8 came home - unheard of for me!  So now I have lots of mornings to look forward to where finding something to wear will not be hard. :-)
The photo today is totally unrelated but is of a house sparrow that was feeding on the fat balls while I was cooking dinner.  I took the photo in colour but had a bit of a play and quite liked in in black and white.
