High Tide at Harmers Haven.
We had our monthly camera club meeting this afternoon which left little time to organise a blip. It was a wonderful afternoon among fellow enthusiasts. Before the meeting I had half and hour to go blip hunting. 5 minutes each way to the nearest beach, 5 min walk down and 5 mins back to said beach, and 10 minutes to track down todays blip. Shot a couple of dozen exposures and settled on the one above. It was fun, dodging waves. I wanted to get a foreground of white foam. I had to watch the waves and when a larger one broke, wait until the foam spread up the sand, then madly dash after it take a quick exposure and race back again. Ahh - haven't done that for so long :)) Needless to say I mistimed it a few times and ended up having a paddle with shoes and socks on.
Just as well there was nobody else on the beach, they would probably have thought I was a lunatic ;-)
