Colourful LA

A full-on day in Los Angeles. Spent the morning at the Petersen motor museum, which has this extraordinarily eye catching facade. Then a trip to Santa Monica, and back to downtown LA for dinner tonight.

In such a lavishly rich city it's shocking to see so many people sleeping on the streets, including some main boulevards that turn into tent city overnight. Just before we arrived there were major protests about the president elect. The Trump victory has not gone down well in California.
