It has to be done

It has to be done, taking a photo of a Gondola that is. A cruise on one would be far too expensive for me.

The weather misted over a bit today, especially in the afternoon. A thin layer of cloud to make the sky a bit hazy. It was not as cold as yesterday however. The temperature was below freezing by the time I got to the hotel yesterday.

At the time of taking this photograph I was on the vaporetto on my way down the Grand Canal on the way to Murano. There I saw some glass blowing and lots of glass. Some of it extraordinarily expensive. I don't think I will be buying a Murano glass chandelier for a while yet.

I hoped to catch the sun setting over the Giudecca, but the cloud was too much for a good sunset, see extra.
