A day off, so a few chores, washing on and stewed some apples, then off to supermarket, but had to run home as realised I had left the apples cooking; they were fine. Shopping part two and then on to parents to do washing, hoovering and get their lunch ready. During the afternoon, I had chance for a catch up with both Yvonnes who I used to work with, over a cuppa and a cherry scone. Back to parents with a loaf of bread, got there just as Mum was panicking about a red light on in the kitchen, it was just a shiny mince pie box.
Home to spread washing on radiators, and cook dinner, stuffed jacket potatoes, crunchy parmesan coated aubergine, quiche, and seared little gems. It smells good in here.
