I'm conscious today that not everyone has the privilege of being able to choose a home and when to go back to it - something that will be denied to the three members of Pussy Riot, feminist musicians in Russia, who have been sentenced to 2 years' imprisonment for 'hooliganism'. The judge sadly refused their right of free speech and, in her sentencing (according to the Guardian), repeated witness testimonies that the three women had offended Orthodox believers by wearing bright clothes inside a church, by "making sharp aggressive movements", and by wearing their trademark balaclavas.
