Another boring building project shot...

Apologies for another building work shot but I just don't have the energy (or opportunity) for taking proper photos at the moment.

Alan continues to be quite unwell with his colitis but remarkably cheery nonetheless.  Hoping to get blood and stool results tomorrow and hopefully speak to the gastro nurse on Friday to see what action we can take.  Not sure they will give him oral steroids again so soon after finishing the last course.  Will just need to wait and see.

The work carries on around us regardless.  Going to bed last night I heard a dripping noise in the hall and a quick check showed it was coming from the spare bedroom upstairs.  Poor David, who was ready for bed had to get dressed and go outside  and in the back door ( it's the only way we can get access to the kitchen / utility room) to investigate.

Almost an hour later and his conclusion was it was coming from a loosened connection on a old pipe.  He turned the water off at the mains and phoned the plumber first thing this morning.  He was due to he here at 8am anyway.  Thankfully it's all fixed now.

Too tired to type any more but there was a major whoops moment regarding the kitchen today.  I'll write about it tomorrow.
