The seals are back as am I.  I've neglected my blip for too long, something I aim to correct from hereon in .

The seals are back at Donna Nook for the 2016 breeding season and the pup count is in the 100's so far.  I have taken several photographs so far but this has to be my favourite ever,  It looks like mum is whispering in the newborns ear.

I don't often visit the site on s Sunday but I have been so busy and the weather has been awful so I broke my own rule today.  Never again I remembered why I don't go.  It is so busy, the count was over 4,500 to 5,000 people - we outnumber the seals!  anyway far too busy for me.   Weekday early mornings for me to get me far enough away from the madding crowds.
