King Tide

The super moon combined with high tide created a very high tide today.  That would be a retaining wall and a bench for enjoying the view in the foreground. 

I skipped out of work early (actually took "earned time") and drove to the coast with a friend.  We stopped in several locations along the way being awed by the power of nature and watching the surfers.  New Hampshire has less than 20 miles of coastline, but we enjoyed every one of them.  There was a wonderful and very filling seafood lunch that included chowder, steamed mussels in a delicious sauce, oysters and calamari.  A well spent afternoon.
