Thursday: Ships at Moelfre #Anglesey

Heavy wintry showers and a few sunny spells today, temperature down to 7°C.
Blood test late morning then drive down to Moelfre to visit the little wool shop but being Thursday it was closed :-((
Toilets have also closed for the winter so I went to the chip shop to use theirs and bought a hot cheese & onion pie and coffee for a picnic lunch in the car park.
Called in the RNLI shop and bought a few Christmas gifts, try to do this every year. Sun was out again so I chanced my luck walking down to the favourite beach overlooking the island. Very high tide today following the Super Moon and lots of ships in the bay, including a huge container ship loaded with containers.
Bumped into the nice lady who The Sailor and I had spoken to, sadly her beautiful Chow dog ("Teddy") was very ill and had to be put down a year ago.
