Looking out

We are home and almost to the point of being normal..I feel like I moved house and then moved it back!   

This view greeted me this morning as I walked into the laundry room to throw some clothes in the washer.  Fall is very much evident here in South Carolina with much yellow and red but so many trees are still green, like a couple of oaks we have.     It is so dry here that they may end up just turning brown or just falling off.

This is the first time in a long while that I did not have to rake up leaves upon our return from Colorado.  But I am definitely okay with that as I know raking time will be here sooner or later.
