Courtesy of the Super Moon and Yesterday's Rain
This is what greeted me as I returned home with the dogs after their early evening walk. The high tide has forced the river over its bank and floating down the river are piles of dead leaves washed down from hills. A full moon often bring extra high tides and the super moon has just that extra bit of gravitational pull. This morning going across the salt marsh was a massive squelch and the usual paths had become wee streams as the whole of the salt marsh had been covered by sea water overnight.
