"Day Of Days"
Remembrance Sunday
Falmouth Parade first, I met Joshua on the Moor following his sleepover with the Scout Group and felt myself swelling with pride as he stood tall as the Cadet Standard Bearer.
The turnout this year was the best to date, lots of Veterans, lots of youngsters and we made a point of putting the youngsters to the front where the Mayor spoke to them.
Following the parade a few of the Veterans gathered in the 'Packet Quay' to catch up over a glass of something.
The Truro Parade started at 1400, it was well attended and better organised than in previous years. I eventually arrived home just in time for a coffee with Clare before she departed for a night shift.
