Siward's Cross....

....also known as Nun's Cross and probably the best known cross on Dartmoor.  There has been a cross here since 1240 apparently. Work is being undertaken on the Eylesbarrow track beyond this and that's why there is a warning sign. Of course, someone had left a cone on top of the cross.....Taken on our evening walk last night.
