Cheeky chappie

I was getting ready to go home when this young man stopped to ask a question.

"Mam, what time do you start in the morning?"

8, I replied.

"So now you are going home at 6?"

Yes, that's right.

"I don't want to get old" he replied.

Neither do I but I think I may be there already!
