Sun oak in autumnal splendor!
I have blipped this wonderful Oak tree that stands on the Hammer pond road as it enters St Leonard's forest just outside Horsham before, on May 10th 2014, when it was just coming into leaf.
It really is a magnificent Oak, and as far as I can tell still in it's prime with no real sign of die back, which is amazing as it can be reliably dated back to 1210!
It looked wonderful today in it's autumn finery, I think I shall have to blip it in the winter now to complete the set.
