Cake in the making

This is J's birthday cake in the making.

I seem to have the dates wrong and have published an entry for today which belonged to the day before...
Anyway the 17th is JJ's birthday and this was the preparation.
Apparently C keeps asking his mother "Is this a Dodie and Pop day today?"
I'm thrilled that he looks forward to his one day of grandparent childcare so much-thrilled and honoured. We spent a fair proportion of it under a throw on the couch playing Peter and the Wolf...
