Barred

Today started with an early Spanish class, and for Asha & Danny, an early Doctor's appointment for Asha's 5 year revision. She's not had to go to the docs since we moved here, and the little thing was quite nervous...I kept saying 'you're going because you're healthy and to keep you healthy!' Anyway, by all accounts it was a touch traumatic...the nurse was nice but the doctor was seriously not nice...and poor Asha was stripped to nothing and checked all over... She's a private girl, so for her this was not easy nor pleasant. Mom reckons they do the same in France & it means they spot abuse much quicker than they do in the UK... Still...unpleasant. Danny then rushed her to school swimming where he became a hit with all the boys in Asha's class, as those of you who know him can imagine!
Whilst they had all that going on, I was working in the café then prayer walking...took a fair few pics out & about but settled on this for my blip, I've added a few others into Flickr.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Danny doing such a good job with Asha at the medical centre.
2) A good time studying a bit in my Bible, and looking at the crazy lineage of Jesus & all that that means...
3) Cold apple pie!!
