Winter Wonderland

I managed to get a pass to the press night of the WInterWonderland fun fair in Hyde Park. Such fun! First a walk through the elves' house to see them making toys for childrens' santa sacks. Then the Bavarian village for a mulled wine and bowl of soup. Next the Nutcracker on Ice which was well done and not cheesy. After that my sister and I walked round looking for a ride that we could summon up the courage to go on. But all the twisters and roller coasters looked way too scary. On the other hand the nice little roundabouts were for children only plus their parents and we didnt have any children with us.

So into the big top to see Cirque Beserque - an acrobats and fire eating display which was spectacular. By this time the fair was closing down so it was just time for a crepe and a snap of a roundabout. A great evening even though we whimped out and didnt manage a single ride. Still, perhaps next year.
