Because after two glorious weeks where we inspired a generation and celebrated success, today sees the return of the overrated, the overpaid and the celebration of mediocrity of the Premier League football. Swap the spirit of togetherness we had for the Olympics, for the utter vitriol that will now be in my Twitter timeline for the next 8 or 9 months.

Frankly I've had enough of it already!
