Preparations...

...for the big switch on on Sunday.

They fairly fire these up quite quickly...I was concerned on Tuesday night when we still only had the tree in position that the street lights were not going up. However, work commenced last night. They do add a wee bit more brightness for seven weeks over the darkest part of winter and I am grateful for that.
