Frozen lochan.....

where my best dragonflies are to be found in warmer weather!
In the background, the Cromdales can be seen, covered to low levels.
It was easy walking on the hill as all the bogs were frozen. There was a hard frost overnight and clear, sunny skies ensured the temperature rose only to 4'.
Redwings, Fieldfares and all the small birds feeding in their flocks.
