Rusty

Rusty arrived yesterday evening and this morning his owner departed for ten days abroad and he stayed with us.
He seems slightly nonplussed by all these events but not unduly concerned.
Early this morning he and I were out for a 7 km walk, a good bit through the forest so he could be off the lead.  He was very interested by the largest moose tracks I've  ever seen, that criss crossed our path several times.  I wasn't sure how these two animals would react to meeting up on a  forest path so I was happy enough not to see the moose in question.
This afternoon we did another 6 km and I guess they'll be another couple before bedtime.  I have a feeling I'll get quite a bit fitter over the next 10 days.
