Tay Bridge

Another lovely sunny day.  Such a shame we have spent most of the last 3 days inside.  The conference has now finished.

As we left the conference, we stopped at the memorial to the Tay Bridge disaster.  It was sunny, but really cold.  I found it really difficult to get a good photo from there, as the bridge height is such that the bridge overlies the land across the Tay, rather than having sky or river as background.

We then drove on down to Edinburgh - lovely snow covered hills and pink clouds.  Rain and a little sleet as we arrived in Loganlea.

I'm staying the night here, then a leisurely morning start, before a long train ride home.
