The Wilderlands

Went to pick up a 'project' today - an oak cupboard in need of some TLC - that I'd bought via a local advert.  It was located (stored) in an area nearby that I'd not explored previously - and area that was curiously flat semi-industrial-wasteland and just generally out-of-context for the Malvern area.

Almost wondered if it had been a WW2 airfield or something. Google Earth shows some buildings there of around that vintage/style, which have since been flattened to make way for a huge new industrial building.

Passed this tree which sort-of summed up the area.
