Windermere

An early start this morning, leaving Winchester at 7 and arriving in the lakes by 11.30. A great lunch in Windermere, a couple of photos, letting the kids go feral for a bit, an amble around Ambleside where we're staying, a fabulous ice cream... A great start to the holiday!

I haven't been to the Lakes for so long. I'd forgotten quite how beautiful it is. Anyway, this blip is a shot from the quay at Windermere. We're hiring a motorboat soon - can't wait!
