It's all in the details

Past, present, and future

Inspired by Linnupoja's grammatical entry a few days ago, I thought I'd illustrate the grammatical tenses of quite a few languages with raspberries.

Example in English for practical reasons.

The one in the front one was delicious.

The second one is ripe and, no doubt, delicious.

The thrid one is still a bit raw, but I'm sure it will be delicious.

I guess the same works for quite a few other European languages and possibly others as well and some (well, probably many) languages actually have a future tense of the verb without a need for an auxiliary verb such as "will" too.

No, I'm not a teacher.
